Perfect case for nuvi 7xx units A well done case and a perfect fit for the nuvi 7xx series. I docked it one star for the list price which is about 30 % higher than what I would expect it to be. It's a good case, just slightly over priced however still worth the money.
case flips open with no plastic covering for gps when cased. not worth the price,,i`d rather have a zip up case,. good for buisness i guess cause it will go on belt.
Cheap material Very poorly sewn. Cheap hard vinyl for a clumsy case. Would have returned if I did not damage the selling plastic case.

Garmin's nüvis pack top of the line features into a slim form factor..New to the nüvi 7x5 lineup is Garmin's HotFix satellite prediction (which locates your position quickly and precisely), Lane Assist (which provides lane guidance and junction views when possible), automatic time zone transitioning, and 3D Building views as well as Garmin Connect Photos to help you visually ascertain your position. Additionally, the nüvi 765T includes Bluetooth connectivity to your cell phone and free real-time traffic updates from Navteq (for the life of the device) via the included GTM 20 traffic receiver.
As with all nüvis, you get Garmin reliability, the fast satellite lock of an integrated high-sensitivity receiver, a slim, pocket-sized design with a gorgeous display, an easy, intuitive interface, and detailed NAVTEQ maps for North America (United States, Canada and Puerto Rico) with more than 6 million name-searchable points of interest. The bright, 4.3-inch touchscreen display gives is anti-glare for ease of viewing during the day and automatically changes its color profile for easy viewing at night or in dim light. It offers 2d or 3D perspective views. The widescreen format gives you 70 percent more actual screen area than a 3.5-inch screen. Primarily this translates into a better view of the area through which you are driving. This is especially useful in showing you what parks, restaurants, ATM, gas stations, etc. are nearby, or in letting you know whether a detour is a good idea. Also, the device itself is larger, meaning controls on the screen are more widely spaced and somewhat easier to push.
The nüvi 765T comes preloaded with highly detailed City Navigator NT road maps from Navteq for the entire United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. This map database features nearly six million points of interest (POIs), including hotels, restaurants, gas stations, ATMs, and attractions. Garmin's interface is a key to their success and one of the things that makes their devices such a pleasure to use. Simple controls and sub-screens make it easy to enter or search for destinations and get data about your trip.

Like another reviewer said, I REALLY want to like this GPS This GPS has so much potential. It is ridiculously feature-rich and has so many great options. I've had the chance to use it for a few days now on some fairly lengthy trips. And to my advantage it sat side-by-side with a Garmin 760 the entire time. My final consensus was to switch to a Garmin 765T which includes free traffic. But anyhow, here's my review of this unit. PROS: -Ridiculously fast recalculations. If you make a wrong turn, literally within 10 feet of making that wrong turn, it has already recognized it and re-routed you. It is just insane that way. -Routing is pretty good compared to the Garmin. For the most part they were the same routes. -Tons of features (avoidances, etc...) -Lane assist was dead-on for me, and was very helpful. CONS (or things you should know before you buy it): -Almost packed it back up 5 minutes after opening it because I got the illegal operation screen like 6 times in a row after turning the unit on for the first time. I almost gave up, but on the 6th time it let me in finally. -My biggest problem with this unit is that it does NOT turn on automatically when you start your car. I know it may sound petty, but I like my GPS on all the time because I check out street names, and keep an eye on the speed limits where they aren't posted. Having to turn on the unit EVERY time I get in the car is a nuisance (dealt with that for a year with a Mio C520; never again). -Speech recognition kind of sucks. For the NJ Turnpike it kept saying "New Jersey TPKE" (try pronouncing TPKE as a word and that's what it sounds like). It does this numerous times with major roads, including the "Garden State P" (why can't it just say PARKWAY???). The Garmin does a much better job with this. -As well it does not announce 95% of the exit numbers. It DOES show it on the screen but it is so stinking tiny it's almost impossible to see it (and I have fantastic vision). -The screen is feature-rich, but almost a little too rich. It's hard to see everything. Fonts are small, icons are small, buttons are small, etc... Just annoying overall. I kept seeing tiny icons pop up but I couldn't tell what the heck they were (gas stations, etc...?). -Traffic assist is a little more detailed than the Garmin. BUT one huge downside is that it does not tell you how major the delay is (other than color coding the icon). Garmin tells you how many minutes you will be backed up (ie 14 minutes); while the Navigon just tells you there is slow traffic, or stop and go traffic, or whatever. Makes it difficult to determine if you should route around it, or try and go through. -Automatic traffic rerouting is a joke. We had the GPS set to automatically route around traffic, yet on numerous occasions it took us right into traffic jams that it already knew about. The Garmin kept trying to tell us to get off (which we should have listened to). -Automatic daylight/nighttime display isn't working right. The time shows correctly but it was night for at least an hour before it switched over. If it is going to be wrong it needs to be wrong the other direction and switch to night display earlier rather than later. Having a blinding white light in your eyes for an hour while you're driving is NOT a good idea. The Garmin's switch was pretty much dead-on with sunset. -HUGE inconvenience is that you cannot search by name in the POI database. This renders it almost useless, though I have to say Garmin's is pretty well useless also. Numerous times both GPS's wouldn't show major retailers we were looking for and were only a few miles away. -Windshield mount is kind of obtrusive. Garmin really has the best mount out there as it is small and out of the way. This one is about twice as large which means it takes up twice as much of your windshield space and view of the road. -Speaker isn't that great. On the top two volume settings it is crackly, like a cheap alarm clock radio. On the third highest setting it is just about the right volume when driving on the highway, so it works out anyway. So in all, there are a lot of negatives, especially when comparing it to the Garmin units. If you've never owned a Garmin then you probably wouldn't rate it as negatively as I do. In fact I would probably have given it 4 or maybe 5 stars if I wasn't already spoiled by the Garmin GPS units. My advice? Spend the extra $100 and go with the Garmin 765T (or 755T). It's worth the price!
Stay away from Navigon I bought the 7200 becuse all the bells and whistles... Navigon is great exept they have built their nav system on a version of windows that is unstable. When the unit comes out of standby, not all of the buttons work or it just locks up and you have to reboot it. $300 junk. I will say if it were a stable system Iwould go back to them. For now the bad OS makes the thing worthless
not as good as I expected I thought about buying 7100 last year because I really wanted the lifetime traffic feature, but I waited until a new product comes out. With 7100, the biggest issue I heard was with its routing algorithms. I've experienced only one glitch with regard to its routing ability when 7200t decided that I should make a u-turn(if possible) when I know that my bank is on the right after the signal. There was one fatal error, which made me turn it off after about 3 minutes I turned on for the first time. I was not sure what it was but a window with an error message popped up on the screen like you would see on your computer screen. The most annoying thing with 7200t is its touch screen. It's not sensitive to the point where it just will not recognize your click until you press like 3 times, and it makes this circles on the screen like the ones you would see on your LCD monitor when you press your fingers on. I wish I can have that long vehicle mount that was available with 7100. My car's windshield is far enough that I have to move my body forward to reach my 7200t with its short mount. The new mount that comes with 7200t is not that stylish like that of 7100. The manual is not present in the box so you have to go online to download it. I guess it's all about reducing costs. Other features like, lifetime traffic, lane assistant, and speaking street names work very well. The lifetime traffic sold me out on this product but now that I know Garmin has the lifetime traffic on some of its models, I'm going to consider Garmin next time.

You will need this. Unit does not come with chargers. This is not a nice to have product; it is a necessity since Nuvi 770 does not come with Car Charger nor wall chargers. Fits the Nuvi 750 The Nuvi 750 fits very nicely in the case. It is easy to inadvertently slide the power switch on when inserting the GPS. We try to remember to "lock" the screen after turning the GPS off before putting it in the case.

But this is a relatively inexpensive item at a MSRP of $18.00, and it's even better at $13.00! If your GPS does not come with a case, make the investment to protect your $300-$400 GPS and buy one. It doesn't have to be OEM, just one that fits properly and is made of a durable material (leather does not rip easily). This case has no special padding for added protection to absorb shock, so it's no different from after market products. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Best GPS mount out there I bought this mount based on the Amazon reviews and they did not lead me wrong. This mount sits anywhere on the dash of any car I place it in. It will not move an inch no matter how aggressive your driving is. It also is very nice not to have the suction residue on your windshield from a suction mount. The unit itself is styled attractively enough for what it is, but its practicality exceeds all other features.

Friction pad works great Pad works as advertised and stays in place letting you position it anywhere you like. My concern is the ball mount on the back of the GPS unit itself. It is already starting to loosen up in less than a month of ownership and I do not see a fix for it except the need to keep purchasing new ball mounts which would add up quickly.

Inadequate Technical Support and Slow to Respond Machine Maps - need updating when Twin Cities area is concerned re major freeway closures, relocation of establishments, and mistakes re locations of establishments (i.e. name of location of establishment is provided, but street doesn't indicate whether it's East, West etc. so the GPS takes one to the wrong place. Some addresses of established businesses or other institutions can not be found through the GPS.) Traffic Update Antenna - can't be hooked up because it gets hooked up where the GPS is connected to car battery or to electrical charger. When one hooks up the antenna in order to try eliminate the problems above, the GPS tells you that you need an external power supply. How can you connect the machine to an external power supply if it uses the same connection point for the antenna? Slowness of Start - until the GPS starts and calculates where you are, lots of time is wasted for the maps' upload. In the winter, you'll be freezing in your car in the meanwhile. Technical Support - impossible hours for working people. Inadequate assistance.
nuvi 370 gps the gps is a user friendly, compact unit with european maps and adequate battery life. it occasionally gets confused when recalculating routes if another route is taken. the map of Greece is limited in that it only shows Athens and immediate suburbs and does not do a good job of showing other cities. The worst criticism is that the suction holder for the car does not work. I have tried it on a number of different vehicles and it falls off. I am looking at buying a vent mounting from radio shack.

The nüvi 200's 3.5-inch (diagonal) display is touchscreen-enabled, making it a cinch to control the device with your fingertips. A rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides up to five hours of battery life depending on use.
Navigate with Easenüvi comes ready to go right out of the box with preloaded City Navigator NT street maps for the continental United States, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico, including a hefty database of more than 6 milliong points of interest (POIs), such as hotels, restaurants, fuel, ATMs and more, that are searchable by name or category. Simply touch the color screen to enter a destination, and nüvi takes you there with 2D or 3D maps and turn-by-turn voice directions. Garmin gets its map data from NAVTEQ, a world leader in premium-quality mapping. In addition, the nüvi accepts custom (POIs), such as school zones and safety cameras and lets you set proximity alerts to warn you of upcoming POIs.
Important note about map updates: Due to our high volume of sales, almost every Garmin portable GPS navigator sold by Amazon.com will come with the most recent map version. If you ever do need a map update, you can purchase one from Amazon.com at our Garmin Store.
This device is compatible with optional content plug-ins available via SD card, such as the Garmin Travel Guides and Garmin SaversGuide provide detailed data for attractions and information on nearby merchants offering discounts, so you can customize nüvi for your travel needs.
Garmin has also added the ability for customers to add custom points of interest (POI’s) from third parties such as school zones and safety cameras.
All nüvis support configurable vehicle icons. These fun, customized car-shaped icons come in a variety of colors to add a personal touch to your vehicle's position on the map.
